The Resilient Leader

You have a demanding job.  You work hard, pushing through to keep on top of the workload, but you’re exhausted and running on empty.

The world is moving at speed and you’re struggling to keep up.  There are moments of overwhelm and you’re anxious that the plates you’re spinning will come crashing down.  

You’re frustrated with everyone and yourself.  Stress levels are high, you’re snapping at colleagues and there have been some emotional outbursts at work. 

Coming in early, staying late and working into the evenings helps you feel in control, but it comes at a cost that is no longer sustainable. Something needs to change soon.

In my work with senior leaders and executives, I have discovered there are six key principles that build resilience and elevate professional performance:

Perform – Overcome the ‘interference’ that gets in the way of you performing at your best.

Power Replenish your energy reserves and rebuild resilience.

Protect – Protect your mental and emotional wellbeing as a priority.

Purpose – Live in alignment with your values and purpose.

Partner – Navigate challenging relationships and nurture positive partnerships.

When you develop all six of these principles, you will have the tools you need to take care of your own health and wellbeing, meet the demands of the workplace, strengthen relationships and find renewed fulfillment and purpose in your work. Not only will you enhance your leadership capacity, you will grow into the leader you are capable of being.

My bespoke executive coaching programme combines applied neuroscience, positive psychology, mindfulness-based stress reduction, emotional intelligence plus burnout prevention and recovery to help you rebuild resilience and re-discover sustainable performance.

Resilience and Wellbeing assessment – Complete a detailed assessment of your stress levels, physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual energies and what drains you, plus a burnout inventory if necessary.  In a 90-minute review, we’ll highlight the areas of focus and establish the foundation of your coaching programme.

Coaching objectives and goal setting – Together, we’ll define your coaching objectives and set goals for your coaching programme ensuring we focus on the key areas to rebuild your resilience and elevate your performance performance.

Resilient Leader Coaching – Regular one-to-one coaching sessions tailored to your objectives, helping you to reduce stress, improve wellbeing and build resilience, prevent or recover from burnout and re-discover sustainable performance.

Pocket Coaching (optional) – On-the-go support via WhatsApp for quick advice and guidance between sessions, ensuring you stay on track with your progress.

Laser Coaching – Quick, focused sessions to tackle challenges as they arise, giving you real-time solutions to maintain momentum.

Resilience Toolkit – A peronalised toolkit of strategies to reduce stress and rebuild resilience, including breathing exercises, physical exercises, mindfulness meditations and deep rest meditations.

Wellbeing Workbook – A comprehensive wellbeing workbook to capture your reflections, learning and actions.  Serves as a resource you can return to over time.

Evaluation and Integration – When your coaching programme comes to a close, we revisit the Resilience and Wellbeing assessment to review your progress and celebrate all you have achieved.  You will receive a one-page Success Plan and we will explore areas of focus for the future ensuring you continue to stay on track.

Accountability call – A follow-up accountability call after the completion of your coaching programme to check in, acknowledge progress and establish the learnings.
